The Live Room
When NeueHouse closed, a lot of people lost more than a workspace. They lost their room of people. We built one too, a few miles west, and the door is open to you.
The Live Room ยท Santa MonicaI am Greg Spero, a jazz pianist. I built The Recording Club because I wanted a real community of working creative people, with the hospitality and the design and the membership feel, but built around actually making the work.
Behind our doors there is a live room with a Steinway and a stage, a Trident mixing console, a podcast and video room with an LED wall, and engineers who can help you finish something real. Plus the parts you would recognize: a bar, a kitchen, a patio, a sauna and cold plunge, and a curated room of members who actually want to know each other.
I also know the part nobody is saying out loud. You paid for a home and it disappeared, and the last thing you want is to hand another club your money and your trust. So I will be straight. We are founder-run, we are not a real estate play, and you do not have to put a big amount down to start. Come as my guest first. Decide later, or never.

A Steinway live room with a stage, a large format Trident console, a vocal booth, and house engineers. Record, rehearse, mix, shoot. The tools are real, and so is the help.

A podcast and video room built around a large LED wall, multi camera, and a control room. Shoot content, record a show, premiere a film. The thing brands rent for thousands is already here.

A bar, a full kitchen, a patio, a lounge, a fireplace, a sauna and cold plunge. One building in Santa Monica where the day can actually happen, from the first idea to the last drink.
